                    அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்!!! இந்த பதிவில் GATE Exam என்பது என்றால் என்ன? அது எழுதுவதற்கான தகுதிகள்? எழுதுவதால் அரசு தரக்கூடிய உதவிதகுதி என்று GATE Exam பற்றிய அனைத்து தகுதிகளையும் இந்த பதிவில் பார்க்க உள்ளோம். 

                    Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering என்பதன் சுருக்கம் தான் GATE ஆகும். இந்த தேர்வை Indian Institute of Technology நடத்துகிறது. ஏழு IIT(Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati,  Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) சேர்ந்து நடத்துகிறது. 

GATE எழுதுவதால் ஏற்படும் வாய்ப்புகள்:

  • GATE Exam எழுதுவதால் Indian top institute ஆன IIT's, NIT's, IISC போன்ற கல்லூரிகளில் Postgraduate படிக்க முடியும். அதுமட்டும் இல்லாமல் படிக்கும்போது  உதவித்தொகையுடனும் படிக்க முடியும்.

  • நேரடியாக PHD படிப்புகளையும் படிக்கலாம்.

  • அதுமட்டும் இல்லாமல் Foreign Instituteஇல் நல்ல ஒரு Scholarship படிப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும்.

  • BHEL, ONGC போன்ற Public Sector கம்பெனிகள் GATE Score ஐ வைத்துதான் ஆட்களை எடுக்கிறார்கள். நல்ல GATE Score இருந்தால் நிறைய Private companies மற்றும் MNC கம்பெனிகளில் வேலை கிடைக்க அதிக வாய்ப்பு உண்டு.

  • CSIR போன்ற Research centerகளில் Junior ஆக உதவித்தொகையுடன் வேலை செய்கின்ற வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும்.

Eligibility of GATE Examination:

  • Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Art போன்ற படிப்புகளில் Degree முடித்தவர்கள் GATE Exam எழுதலாம்.

  • அதுமட்டும் இல்லாமல் இந்த தேர்வை 3rd year மற்றும் கடைசி வருடம் படிக்கக்கூடிய மாணவர்களும் இந்த தேர்வை எழுதலாம். 

Details of GATE Examination:

  • Mode of Exam(எழுதும் முறை): Computer Based Exam

  • Number of hours(மொத்த நேரம்): 3 hours

  • Number of subjects(மொத்த படங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை): 27

  • ஒரு தேர்வாளர் ஒன்று அல்லது இரண்டு தாள்கள் வரை எழுதமுடியும்.

  • Number of questions (மொத்த கேள்விகள்): 65 Questions
    அதில், 
    • General Aptitude(GA) Questions: 10 Questions
    • Subject Questions: 55 Questions
  • Question Type: 1 Mark or 2 Mark
  • தவறான பதில்களுக்கு Negative Marksம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

Mark distribution:

  • All papers expect AR, CY, EY, GC, MA, PH, XH, and, XL
    • General Aptitude: 15 Marks
    • Engineering Maths: 13 Marks
    • Subject Questions: 72 Marks
    • Total: 100 Marks

  • For AR, CY, EY, GC, MA, PH, XH, and, XL
    • General Aptitude: 15 Marks
    • Subject Questions: 85 Marks
    • Total: 100 Marks

Age Limit:

        GATE Exam எழுதுவதற்கு age limit கிடையாது.
